Nowadays, the recruitment and selection of personnel play a very important role in the acquisition of personnel for an organization, since this allows companies to grow in all senses, on the one hand we have recruitment that obviously implies the attraction of candidates potentially qualified to carry out a position within an organization in nigerian recruitment, consequently with the respective selection of a professional and that we know that this is a technical process by which it allows us to identify people who have the competencies and skills required for good job performance that a company requires.


The recruitment and selection of personnel is frequently the factor that determines the prosperity of a company, converts the investment into satisfactory revenue and that allows it to achieve its objectives, in addition to acquiring great relevance as basic and complementary procedures of the Human Resources Administration. This is how we ask ourselves, how important is the recruitment and selection of personnel within an organization? This article aims to inform about the importance of recruitment and selection of personnel within an organization.


From my perspective, the recruitment and selection of personnel is a process by which companies hire the appropriate personnel to fill a position, in addition to this process is essential when looking for the ideal candidate for the job, since it partly depends on that whether the organization continues to perform well. The recruitment and selection program of personnel must be within the strategic planning of a company so that it is directed to fulfill the objectives of the company. (Rico, 2020).


Recruitment in organizations is important since it strives to attract the most qualified professionals and technicians for which they use various means such as a call, therefore there are two ways to recruit, one is "internal recruitment" which is basically when within the same company the call for the job vacancy is made and on the other hand we have the "external recruitment" which is obviously when the call is made outside the company and that is where it is almost always possible to find the candidate who meets the profile of the position applied for; now the selection of personnel is clearly the choice of the candidate who will occupy the position in the organization in nigerian recruitment.


I conclude by saying that effectively the recruitment and selection of personnel is very important within an organization because this whole process helps companies to acquire better and new human talents, according to what they require at the time, that is why all They seek to achieve efficiency in the development of their human resources and that this is very high, all this in order to achieve greater effectiveness in the business environment.


In addition, as we have observed all the drastic changes that are occurring in society, companies must be attentive to meet the needs of the consumer and the company itself. That is why the recruitment and selection process should not be taken lightly. Therefore, we must advance on that traditional vision that considered the recruitment and selection processes as specific acts within the company and integrate these processes as a fundamental part of its life and growth in nigerian recruitment. Therefore, if the personnel selection process is not carried out correctly and a worker who is not suitable for the position is hired, it can cause the company low productivity, since it is useless to develop a company philosophy if you do not have the administrative structure that supports it.
